GREG BRISTOL

EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR ON LAW ENFORCEMENT

Greg Bristol is a former Trooper with the Michigan State Police and retired FBI Special Agent who specialized in human trafficking investigations.  He has spoken at the University of Louisville’s Southern Police Institute, St. Thomas University School of Law, and Georgetown University Law Center.

SPECIAL AGENT (S.I.G.A.R.)

In 2010, Greg became a Special Agent with the Special Inspector General for Afghanistan Reconstruction (SIGAR), and investigated fraud, waste and abuse in US contracts in Kandahar, Afghanistan.  After serving two 13-month appointments, Agent Bristol returned to the US in 2012, and created The Human Trafficking Investigations & Training Institute.

SPECIAL AGENT (F.B.I.)

In 1987, Greg became a FBI Special Agent, and was assigned to the FBI's Washington Field Office.  His assignments included Foreign Counterintelligence, Public Corruption, Securities Fraud (Enron Task Force), and Civil Rights (Hate Crimes and Human Trafficking).

STATE TROOPER (M.S.P.)

In 1978, Greg became a Trooper with the Michigan State Police (MSP), and was first assigned to MSP's Northville Post.  He was a Distinguished Expert marksman, and the receipient of MSP's Meritorious Service medal for diligence and perseverance under uncommon circumstance in a murder investigation. In 1986, he was reassigned to MSP's Detroit Freeway Post.

Filmed in five continents, it shows us an astonishing array of practices involved in human trafficking. One of Agent Bristol's 2009 FBI domestic servitude cases is highlighted in this film.
